We got rid of our five year old Maytag machine in favor of the Speed Queen. It is the most amazing machine. It actually washes the cloths the way they used to get washed. Plenty of water and agitation. I can't believe how much cleaner our cloths feel and smell.

It was a good experience from the sales person to washing my first load..I love this washer. The water fills all the way to the top even on the ECO wash..Also the agitator is like the old washers, it agitates and just doesn't spin around . No water is left in the bottom underneath the agitaor as most other washers are which leaves a smell of stale water. So Thankful to have found this Speed Queen and I have written it on Face Book and tried to tell Everyone. People NEED to know these washers still exist. I have had people calling me since my post on Face book..Please advertise and let people know that you still have the old agitators and water still fills to the top...I will be your voice if needed..I love this washer..I would have never known if my sister had not been in Electric Express looking for an appliance and saw it. People are asking me, "Where did you buy it"? NO other store has these washers for sale. Lowes has nothing but the ones that the whole tub spins and they leave water and twist your clothes. The cheapest that I saw there was $798. so why not buy what really works...The others do NOT...only the Speed Queen...

When my old washer died, the appliance repair workman highly recommended that I get this Speed Queen washer WITH THE "TRANSMISSION" as a replacement. He said it was the best washer on the market. He very seldom gets called out to repair a Speed Queen. I agree! I've had it a few weeks now and am thoroughly pleased with it. Simple to operate, but does an excellent job of washing clothes and is very FAST, compared to my older washer. Stainless steel tub. Best washer I have ever owned.

When I purchased this machine I needed a product immediately available, and this one was available. I did not realize that I was purchasing a mini washing machine. The hype far exceeds my satisfaction. If I don't set the control on "deep fill," there's hardly enough water to wash a towel, so I always put it on the deep fill setting. It does not agitate long enough to fully clean the clothes, and the rinse cycle is extremely short. I also use the"extra rinse" setting so I can get a somewhat sufficient rinse. Far from being a reasonably quiet machine, it is extremely noisy, and I had the installer return and adjust the washer because it moves as much as a foot if it is washing an item as large as a sheet. The adjustment did not alleviate the problem, because the washer is too lightweight. Anything that can get the least bit off center will make it shake, make loud noises, and move across the floor. Because of its low capacity,I don't really understand how a large family could use this washer. I have a very small family and wash frequently, so I can use the above extra settings and try to make it suffice for for my needs, but I am very disapponted overall.

I have had issues with it foaming out of my drain pipe since the first load of laundry I have done. Contacted the store I bought it from and they required me to snake my pipes before they would do a service call. Had to do a service call before they would consider returning it. Spent $90.00 to get it snaked and all was good. Service department came out and no help. Refuse to let me return it for a full refund, state they would have to "work something out" because it would be a used product. So essentially I paid $1300.00 for a washer I have to sit and watch during the spin cycle so it doesn't ruin my floor by getting water all over then. So disappointed. I would never recommend.

This was exactly what I hoped to find. Real agitation, no lid lock, simple to use and capable of anything and everything. The cubic footage might sound small, but doesn't tell the whole story--deep fill makes it possible to wash a large load very effectively, which is not true of newer machines that have a larger tub but can't use it as effectively. This washer will last for years and years, and that is true peace of mind. A washing machine is personal and this is the best I have ever had. No more commercial machine envy, now I have that quality right here in my home.

First off, top lid is flimsy and there were issues with it making noise after 3 washes. Service came out and used wd-40 on it and said not to put anything on top. Well, I've had no problems with any of the other washers that I had. Second, the stainless steel drum, leaves residue that unless it's wiped off, it will remain. Even using deep fill and correct amount of detergent, sometimes some of the load does not smell as clean as it should. All these issues are within 3 weeks of purchase. Very costly machine and doesn't perform accordingly!

I purchased this item in December of 2022 and by the first week of February it was not working. The company did not have anyone available to come see it until March 1st. I spent a lot of money on the dryer and washer because I wanted reliable machines. I never got a response back about having someone come out sooner from the store Grand Appliance. Go back...not being able to fill machine while lid is open is a big detractor! Also if close lid to fill then forget a few things it autoruns which is very annoying. I own and like older model that allows open lid filling and no auto run. Regular wash cycle seems very short...7 mins max

These machines are VERY loud. The washer doesn't provide multiple load sizes and is Extremely sensitive to the amount of liquid detergent you add. I most loads I would have water and suds in the floor overflowing from the drain line. I finally called Speed Queen.

This is replacing a 30 year old Maytag so it's got big shoes to fill. So far it's fine. My only complaint is that it won't fill with the door open. I like to be able to rinse my detergent cup while preparing my load.

I did my research and decided the Speed Queen washer was just what I needed. We have a septic system, but when I use the ECO setting, I have suds back flowing from the drain. I use HE detergent, and a very small amount of that. The suds runs down my wall. There is very little water, just a lot of suds. This does not happen in any other settings, such as the permanent press setting. I prefer the ECO setting as I believe it saves water and extracts water from the clothes better. Is there anything you can recommend for this issue? The washer was installed correctly and we are using a drain seal but the suds still comes out of the drain.

*We will have service when we need it. *We have no people (Hillsdale County, michigan)in our area to repair other brands, *It was rather expensive, but warranty and service was the first. *I am not real excited, about the cleaning ability with jeans cold or warm, if you only put only 2 pair in they still don't come really clean, but I am sacrificing that for great warranty. *It seems to have brought down our light bill a little. *Spins out wonderfully, in turn reducing the time/wear and tear on my dryer. * I like, it does not take me all day to do laundry. :) * We have 5 people in our house.
